Here’s what you missed: On October 28, Les Lumières de Paris Institut International’s Hong Kong chapter held a dinner reception for 70 prominent members of society, following their official launch on September 23. Held at the Four Seasons ballroom, the event was hosted by the president of its Hong Kong Chapter, Wendy Siu. Alexandre Giorgini, the Consul General of France, Hong Kong and Macau and honourary member Henry Tang, were among the guests of honour.

Siu, Giorgini and Tang delivered inspiring and important speeches about building friendship between Hong Kong and Paris through cultural exchange, and were joined via video presentation by honorary president Catherine Dumas, president of the institute Jean-Francois Legaret, vice president Olivier de Tilière, and secretary general Alain Caradeuc. The evening was a true reflection of the importance of the institute and explored the best of what Paris can offer in the areas of arts and culture, design and architecture, luxury and craftmanship, gastronomy and heritage.
