Every year, Kidz Horizon Appeal, a charitable organisation that attends specifically to needy children with chronic illnesses, holds multiple fundraising campaigns to support their cause.
From charity gala dinners to charity golf tournaments, Kidz Horizon Appeal has, over the years, been able to raise over SG$12 million to help more than 1,200 needy patients with about a million dollars being raised annually.
With Covid-19, Kidz Horizon Appeal has not been able to carry out its fundraising efforts with as much gusto as it did before the pandemic. However, that has not stopped them.
Rather, the charity, which is helmed by founding chairperson Dr Caroline Low-Heah, has simply taken things online.
Take a look at what went down at the Kidz Horizon Virtual Dinner 2021 which allowed for attendees to tune in from their individual homes and to host socially distanced watch parties to raise money for good.
