The best spots to break a sweat when restrictions lift in April, and a homage to the great studios we will miss

Gyms We’ll Miss
Lights Out
Lights Out recently announced plans to close its Sheung Wan gym after nearly three years of operations. Before moving to its Sheung Wan location, Lights Out’s story first began in 2018—it had occupied a small room inside Warrior Hong Kong.
The gym offered something that couldn’t be found anywhere else in Hong Kong: boxing in the dark, with high-energy beats and circuits of high-intensity strength and conditioning exercises, shuffled in between. We’ll miss you, Lights Out.
Barre 2 Barre
Barre 2 Barre had been one of the leading barre studios in Hong Kong for almost a decade. The studio offered students killer views of Central while they tried to maintain ballet-inspired poses for prolonged periods of time.
