The latest Lady Féerie Or Rose, which expands the Lady Féerie collection, is one of the maison’s Poetic Complications watches that combines its savoir faire and technical prowess to tell time in way that is exceptionally beautiful and stirs emotions.
Dressed in dazzling diamonds, pink sapphires and miniature painting on gold, the feminine figure of the fairy is crafted from rose gold while her wings are made in white gold and coated with a powdery gradient, achieved by combining translucent pink plique-à-jour enamel with opaque pink enamel. With these techniques of enamelling, the maison’s craftsmen were able to not only fashion a unique shade of pink that matches the dial’s pink background, but also a transparent effect that plays with the light, complementing the sparkle of the diamonds that line the fairy’s wings.

Against the graduating pink sky, she is perched on a fluffy white cloud made from iridescent white mother-of-pearl and holds a magic wand topped with a diamond in one hand, with which she points out the minutes. A white mother-of-pearl aperture by her knee represents the setting sun, and also displays the hours.
In order to achieve the mesmerising gradient of the pink evening sky, the maison’s artisans painted engraved mother-of-pearl with shades of pearly white to deep plum, delicate champagne and an intense fuchsia. It took more than 10 attempts in order to achieve this soft, seamless ombre effect.

The fairy and her whimsical setting are housed in a 33mm rose gold case set with diamonds and the watch is powered by a self-winding mechanism with jumping hours and retrograde minutes. Through the sapphire caseback of the Lady Féerie Or Rose, the movement’s oscillating weight engraved with a sparkling night sky is visible. The sapphire glass is also adorned with clouds with enamelled contours that add to the magic of the watch with a subtle glittery effect.
The Lady Féerie Or Rose watch is a numbered edition and comes with a purple interchangeable alligator leather strap.
