Tiffany & Co.’s inaugural showcase at LVMH Watch Week surely dazzles and delights
The horological world is buzzing as LVMH Watch Week kicks off the calendar year in New York City and Paris this week. Participating in the event for the first time, Tiffany & Co. proudly stands alongside seven esteemed houses within the luxury conglomerate’s watchmaking portfolio to reaffirm its authority as a maker of high jewellery timepieces.
Let it be known: Tiffany & Co.’s watchmaking legacy spans more than a century and a half, with some of its historic Swiss-made timepieces dating from the 1870s to the end of the 1930s. Bridging this distinctive heritage with innovation, the house unveils five stunning novelties at LVMH Watch Week while showcasing models from four of its jewellery watch collections—namely, Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany, Carat 128, HardWear by Tiffany, and Eternity by Tiffany—as well as clocks from its Time Objects collection.
Add to that 20 exceptional timepieces from its archives—including its most recent acquisition: a pocket watch that was given in 1912 to Captain Arthur Rostron of the RMS Carpathia, a hero of the sunk Titanic—and you have a milestone-marking exhibit you won’t soon forget.

Sparkling ties

The house has unveiled a new expression of the celebrated Sixteen Stone collection, originally created by legendary designer Jean Schlumberger in 1959. The striking motif of yellow gold cross-stitches anchoring a row of diamonds is quintessential Schlumberger, whose exuberant artistry and whimsy have all but become definitive of Tiffany & Co.’s high jewellery creations.
The Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Twenty Four Stone watch features a diamond-set watch dial made in two sections: a fixed central disc and an outer ring with the collection’s signature cross-stitch in 18-carat yellow gold with 24 round brilliant diamonds totalling one carat. This rotating ring is meant to spin freely as the wearer’s wrist moves, eliciting a captivating sense of movement and subtlety that horology enthusiasts are sure to adore.
Representing 80 hours of work by the house’s goldsmiths and gem-setters, the case is snow-set, a technique where diamonds of varying sizes are arranged in a close-knit pattern to create a fluid, sparkling surface. Additional diamonds show up on the case-back, engraved with a sunburst pattern inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s Floral Arrows brooch; the winding crown, with its solitaire diamond of 0.47 carats; and the Tiffany Blue® alligator strap, fastened with a white gold T buckle set with 49 round brilliant diamonds.
Powering this feat in primo craftsmanship is a fine Swiss-made self-winding mechanical movement, the Calibre LTM 2100, offering a power reserve of 38 hours.

One of Schlumberger’s most emblematic contributions to the American jeweller is, without a doubt, the Bird on a Rock—an enduring symbol of optimism and beauty that now perches on the diamond-encrusted dial of two new watches.
A full diamond pavé edition is presented in an 18-carat white gold case and set with a total of 1,318 round brilliant diamonds equating over eight carats. The bird is invisibly attached to the snow-set dial’s outer ring, which features 30 baguette aquamarines for a touch of Tiffany blue. The watch is completed by the just-as-dazzling white gold bracelet formed from five rows of links and set with 628 round brilliant diamonds of different sizes. One can easily set the time via the case-back’s integrated push button, powered by a high-precision Swiss quartz movement.

Meanwhile, on the tsavorite watch, exceptional contrast is achieved by the 36 baguette-cut gemstones of 5.4 total carats on the rotating outer ring. Their rich verdant hue is complemented by the dark green alligator strap that is fastened by a diamond-set T buckle, while the bird that perches on the tsavorite ring is set with 99 round full-cut diamonds and a pink sapphire eye. This timepiece is likewise powered by the Calibre LTM 2100.

The renowned Tiffany Diamond, a 128.54-carat cushion-shaped yellow diamond worn only by the brightest stars throughout its history, lends its distinctive prowess to the new Carat 128 aquamarine high jewellery watch, a one-of-a-kind piece.
This very limited-production model features a 27mm diamond-set case in 18-carat white gold, a brilliant five-row bracelet, and a single diamond-cut aquamarine of 35.23 carats that acts as a glass protecting the dial. This showstopping piece is powered by a high-precision Swiss quartz movement.
A captivating display

Inspired by the stained glass lamps once crafted by Tiffany Studios at the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries and retailed by Tiffany & Co., the Eternity by Tiffany Wisteria watch makes it hard not to stare. It particularly draws inspiration from the cascading wisteria blossoms of these iconic Art Nouveau designs, capturing their vivid colours and intricate patterns on the alluring hand-crafted dial.

Droplets of enamel in shades of blue and green are executed in the ancient plique-à-jour technique, allowing light to permeate through and reflect off the dial plate for an instant and memorable effect. This is accentuated by a differently cut diamond on each of the 12 hours: round brilliant, baguette, cushion, Tiffany True®, marquise, Asscher, heart, pear, oval, emerald, triangle, and princess. The scintillating case is snow-set with 627 snow-set diamonds totalling over 1 carat, and a dark blue alligator strap complements all these nicely.
This Calibre LTM 2100-powered timepiece, like every aforementioned novelty in this article, will be produced in limited quantities each year. Which one are you most excited to get your hands on?
