Delicious martinis and unique watches made for memorable conversations among the Tatler GMT community
It was no ordinary Monday night at the Tatler House. The ground floor of our charming shophouse was buzzing with excitement and activity on the evening of May 6 as we welcomed watch enthusiasts for our first Tatler GMT Microbrands and Martini Monday.
For this inaugural event, guests were invited to bring their microbrand timepieces to share with their fellow watch collectors and hopefully discover new brands too. To complement the evening’s theme, guests were served martinis made with spirits from Norrbottens Destilleri, a small-batch distillery from the Töre, in the north of Sweden. The brand’s founder and master distiller Dennis Bejedal and its brand ambassador Hugo Svedjeland were present to whip up the drinks as well as as guide guests through the range of Norrbottens Destilleri products, which are available to purchase from Limwood Gourmet.

To kick things off, Annabel Tan, editor of Tatler GMT Singapore said a few words to welcome everyone, before handing the time over to Bejedal, who shared the story behind the brand and how he started Norrbottens Destilleri. Guests were then invited to partake in the Norrbottens Destilleri martinis, a delectable spread of canapés provided by One Farrer Hotel & Spa as well as an indulgent dessert table of Läderach confections as they mingled.
The cocktails and conversations carried on well into the evening, and guests were spotted swapping watches with one another as well as snapping wrist shots together. It was a convivial gathering of friends old and new, and another memorable moment for the growing Tatler GMT community.
