Among the Swiss manufacture’s illustrious offerings, the RM 07-01 holds a special place as a core collection dedicated to women. Central to the allure of the RM 07-01 is its meticulously crafted movement, the CRMA2. Developed in 2014 as Richard Mille’s second in-house calibre, the skeletonised automatic winding CRMA2 is tailored specifically for this collection with features such as a variable-geometry rotor that optimises energy production based on the wearer’s activity level, underscoring the brand’s dedication to bespoke craftsmanship.
Every element of the RM 07-01’s manufacturing process is treated with utmost precision and attention to detail, down to the finishing. The movement’s baseplate and bridges are made from fine microblasted grade 5 titanium with an electroplasma-treated finish for optimal strength and durability. The CRMA2 also works in complete harmony with the watch case, which is available in a range of materials including red gold, white gold, Carbon TPT, Gold Carbon TPT, ATZ white and TZP black ceramic. These serve as a versatile canvas for Richard Mille’s ingenuity. Whether adorned with diamonds, black sapphires, jasper, onyx, mother of pearl, or Carbon TPT, each dial reflects the brand’s artistic flair and innovation.

For an extra touch of preciousness, the white and red gold RM 07-01 watches are available in snow-set diamond versions. The use of snow-setting on the case gives the watch a more organic look, almost as if it was made solely out of countless sparkling diamonds and not simply adorned with them. Diamonds can also be found on two TZP black and ATZ white ceramic models. Here, the precious gems are set in prongs that have been individually manufactured and meticulously polished to secure the diamonds on the ceramic—a true testament to the brand’s commitment to the highest standards of craftsmanship.

To make the RM 07-01 even more special and tailored to women’s style preferences, the watch can be worn with an open link bracelet that is exclusive to the collection. Available in three variations—diamond snowset white gold, diamond snow-set red gold and red gold with Carbon TPT—the bracelet is ideal for dressier occasions or for elevating everyday wear. Developed by expert craftsmen, the bracelet seamlessly integrates with the watch case and has a double deployment buckle, embodying the fluid lines and ergonomic principles synonymous with Richard Mille. Each bracelet link is also bead blasted, satin finished and polished for ultimate lustre and comfort; creating the inimitable bond between the watch and its wearer.
From its expertly engineered movement to the exquisite design details, every aspect of this iconic timepiece speaks to the brand’s unwavering pursuit of excellence. As a cornerstone of the Richard Mille ladies’ collection, the RM 07-01 continues to captivate and inspire, setting new standards for luxury watchmaking.
