Meet Skygolpe who created the digital-exclusive art that accompanies the Radiomir Eilean Experience Edition watch

In March, Panerai introduced the Radiomir Eilean Experience Edition, a limited edition of 50 pieces featuring bronze accents salvaged during the refurbishment of the Eilean yacht.

What makes the watch truly unique is that it is piloting Panerai's entry into Web3 with the accompaniment of 50 Panerai Genesis NFTs. This digital asset will unlock exclusive content related to the watch, including a one-of-a-kind art by Italian artist Skygolpe.

A visionary in the digital realm, the acclaimed multi-disciplinary artist is one of the earliest makers of NFT art. “There is not a specific style or technique that applies to an NFT. Every type of creation can be conveyed by an NFT," says Skygolpe of the appeal of NFT.

Each Panerai Genesis NFT is uniquely time stamped to reflect the owner's experiences and is an evolving passport to an array of perks including priority access to future Panerai initiatives.

According to Panerai CEO Jean-Marc Pontroué, the venture into Web3 is a logical next step for the manufacture as it continues its effort to elevate clients' experience. "(Our clients) have deep, eclectic interests, and I know they will be excited about collecting artwork from one of the world’s most forward-thinking artists. The fact that it is an NFT that extends additional benefits and services only adds to its appeal.”
