Horology enthusiasts and friends of Tatler enjoyed a cocktail party to celebrate the inaugural issue of Tatler GMT

If you haven’t already heard, Tatler Asia has partnered with Swiss watch publisher GMT to launch Tatler GMT—a content and community platform dedicated to watch enthusiasts and collectors in Asia. The aim is to curate compelling content, host exclusive events, and offer unparalleled experiences that showcase the best and brightest in the world of watches.

Anchoring the platform is the Tatler GMT Watch Club, a community hub that offers members regular events across Asia, providing a unique opportunity for watch lovers and collectors to connect, exchange ideas and establish a direct relationship with Tatler's editorial team.

To celebrate the unveiling of our very first Tatler GMT issue on August 15, we co-hosted a cocktail party in partnership with Ion Orchard at the mall’s luxurious dining venue situated 218 meters above ground, 1-Atico.

The evening kicked off with a welcome speech by Tatler Singapore’s editor-in-chief, Aun Koh, followed by a panel discussion with three distinguished watch collectors: Stephanie Soh, the co-founder of watch appreciation platform Tick Tock Belles; Dominic Liew, a longtime collector with a particular interest in independent brands; and Tom Chng, the founder of Singapore Watch Club. The panel was moderated by Tatler GMT’s editor Annabel Tan, during which the group discussed the growth, change and trends within the horological world, the passion that drives watch collectors, as well as what the future looks like for the industry.

Throughout the party, guests were spotted taking group wrist shots and sharing their enthusiasm for watches over scrumptious canapés from 1-Atico, bespoke cocktails, and a lovely limited-edition blended whisky—the Royal Salute 21 Year Old Jodhpur Polo Edition. To make the evening especially memorable for guests, UOB Privilege Banking prepared personalised champagne flutes with engravings of the guests’ names as a door gift.
