GMT Magazine, Tatler GMT’s Swiss partner, marks its 25th anniversary with a collaboration with Chopard

To help mark 25 years of GMT Magazine, Chopard has designed the exclusive 25-piece Mille Miglia GMT & BMC, featuring a completely new frosted safari beige dial.

The COSC-certified self-winding Caliber 01.02-M, the first time the movement is featured in a Mille Miglia, stands out with its automotive-inspired decoration and 60-hour power reserve, displayed via an indicator reminiscent of a fuel gauge. The racing references continue on a perforated brown calfskin leather strap with a black rubber lining finished to resemble a tire, as well as on the screw-lock crown engraved with a steering wheel motif. The limited edition is produced in partnership with the Bonmont Motors Club, of which Chopard’s co-president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele is a member.

The harmonious design of this collector’s piece features contrasts that enhance its readability, including hour markers and hands painted with black SuperLuminova to echo the aluminum insert on the bezel. Water-resistant up to 100m, the case and folding clasp are cast in Lucent Steel, a patented eco-circular alloy.

While participants in the GMT Watch Safari 2025 (Oct 26-Nov 1) and members of the Bonmont Motors Club will be the first to see this new model, a third of the production is reserved for other GMT readers. You may reserve a piece here
