Aptly named the Vanguard Beach collection, it is composed of three watches in bright, summery hues
The Vanguard has always been Franck Muller's expression of sportiness, but it has never looked as playful as it does now. The new Vanguard Beach has given the signature tonneau-shaped case a radiant vibe in fiery red, ocean blue, and summer green.
The watch is crafted in a glass fibre composite, chosen to achieve a distinctive pattern of undulating lines resembling ripples in the sand on the beach. The process involves very precise steps that include melting the glass at 1,500°C, before cooling it down to 700°C and formed into sheets. These sheets are then dyed, layered, and compressed into blocks to be machined into watch cases.

The material is extremely lightweight yet durable, with a density that is only a quarter of steel. The Vanguard case is curved and comes without lugs for optimal comfort on the wrist. The fabric Velcro strap is adept for a day of lounging by the pool. Powered by a self-winding movement, it features a date window positioned prominently at 6 o'clock.
