At the heart of the Round Skeleton Baguette is the FM 1540-RS movement, a manually wound mechanism created specifically for this watch, that consists of 137 components. The movement was developed based on Franck Muller’s Vanguard Lady Skeleton movement (MVT 1540), with modified mainplate and bridges to achieve the same design as the Round Skeleton 39 mm model.
The watch’s skeletonised dial offers a captivating view of its inner workings, and the open-worked movement has been thoughtfully minimised to fit within the compact case while maintaining an impressive four-day power reserve. Featuring mirror polishing and bevelling on key components to enhance its visual appeal, this new movement is also the smallest skeleton movement ever manufactured by Franck Muller. With a balance wheel frequency set at 21,600 vibrations per hour, it ensures reliable timekeeping while allowing for an intricate display of craftsmanship. The watch also boasts water resistance up to 30 meters, making it not only a statement piece but also practical for everyday wear.
