Brands like Ulysse Nardin, Girard Perregaux and Graff are on display at the 14th annual ‘DFS Masters of Time’ event, which is taking place from November 24, 2023 to February 29, 2024 at the Shoppes at Four Seasons Macao
The DFS Masters of Time exhibition, a major showcase of horology and jewellery, is taking place in Macau from November 24, 2023 to February 29, 2024. The event, which is in its 14th edition this year, is unfolding at Shoppes, Four Seasons Hotel, Macao. It is presented by DFS Group, in partnership with Shoppes at Four Seasons and Express Company, American Express’s joint venture in China.
This year, the exhibition features more than 300 masterpieces and limited-edition luxury timepieces from more than 45 maisons.
“DFS is thrilled to have the supportive partnerships of Shoppes at Four Seasons and Express Company to jointly present this momentous showcase of gleaming and extremely precious timepieces and jewellery to our most distinguished guests,” said Johan Pretorius, president of Hong Kong and Macau for DFS Group.
The event invites watch enthusiasts to take a close look at rare horological wonders such as Vianney Halter’s Deep Space Tourbillon, H Moser & Cie’s latest innovations, Andersen Geneve’s limited-edition Automaton Joker, which has been made in collaboration with Konstantin Chaykin, SevenFriday’s exclusive collection of three 3D printed timepieces and more. Other technological marvels include HYT’s Moon Runner, which represents time through a pioneering liquid mechanism which symbolises the flow of time; and Girard Perregaux’s new Neo Constant Escapement, which ensures remarkable precision by maintaining a stable rate regardless of the mainspring’s energy levels.
Guests can also gain deeper insight into the craftsmanship behind watchmaking and high jewellery by joining masterclasses and workshops held by illustrious brands such as Girard Perregaux, Bovet, Ulysse Nardin and Messika. Whisky tastings and salons dedicated to sustainability are also available at the venue—making it a wholly indulgent experience for attendees.
The exhibition also spotlights some extraordinary gemstones by Graff, each stone reflecting a legacy of meticulous selection and expertise. French jewellery house Vever displays its two centuries of craftsmanship and its role in shaping the art nouveau movement, while Yoko London, a purveyor of fine pearls, marks its 50th year by reimagining traditional pearl jewels.
The DFS Masters of Time exhibition has, since its inception in 2008, established itself as a pivotal event for haute horlogerie and fine jewellery enthusiasts. It offers guests a chance to immerse themselves in the intricate world of watchmaking and jewellery, where they can interact with brands and delve into the heritage and exceptional craftsmanship that define the maisons.
