From ethereal diamond necklaces to statement watches, Tatler Asia’s first regional Ball was a dazzling showcase of high jewellery

Tatler Ball at The Londoner Macao 2023 saw the crème de la crème of Asia gathered in a constellation of style and elegance. Not only was there a grand display of haute couture, there was also plenty of show-stopping jewellery. As the night came alive, Asia’s elite including model and artist Kōki from Japan, Kanyawee ‘Thanaerng’ Songmuang from Thailand, Ayla Sham from Hong Kong and many more showcased their extraordinary gems in a dazzling parade of opulence.

To honour the evening’s theme: Shades of Extraordinary, guests interpreted this through bold colours, innovative silhouettes, and dynamic diamonds to make an unforgettable statement on the red carpet.

High fashion labels like Valentino, Fendi, and Giambattista Valli made a prominent appearance—their couture pieces adding to the artistic tapestry of the evening. And alongside these sartorial masterpieces, guests shone brightly in pieces from high jewellery houses such as Chopard, Bulgari, Chaumet and Chanel. The seamless blend of fashion and jewellery painted a vibrant picture of style, grace, and extraordinary creativity.

Lam’s Bulgari white diamond parure added a touch of glamour to her Fendi couture, while Kōki’s Bulgari earrings and serpenti necklace matched her Valentino gown, and wow, did they sparkle and shine just as brightly as she when Kōki went on stage to accept her award for Tatler Asia’s Style Icon at the ball.
