As the weather grows warmer and the fields awaken in blooms, Van Cleef & Arpels celebrates the change of the season with jewellery inspired by one of nature’s most beautiful creatures, the butterfly

The butterfly has been Van Cleef & Arpels inspiration since its foundation, carrying with it the message of a benevolent nature from flower to flower. Whether figuratively or stylised, it has appeared in various forms throughout the years—in wood, lacquer, enamel, mother-of-pearl as well as precious and ornamental stones. It has even graced elaborate watch dials, lending the timepieces a touch of whimsy.

As a symbol of metamorphosis, it’s only fitting that Van Cleef & Arpels celebrates the arrival of spring with its renewal energy by revisiting one of its most treasured collections, Two Butterfly. A true icon of the maison, the winged creature takes flight in a myriad of colours.

The butterfly appears for the first time ever in the soothing turquoise. A gem that was prized by ancient Egyptian pharaohs and the Aztecs, the turquoise is given a bold contrast against yellow gold and diamonds.

This collection reflects the maison’s unparalleled expertise, from the selection of the diamonds to the final polishing, and from the openwork backs of the pieces to the setting techniques and the highlighting work of the turquoise. Every detail is exquisitely realised.

Included in this collection are a pendant, a Between the Finger ring, and a pair of earrings.
