Experience Tiffany & Co’s reimagined crown jewel as it transforms into a new world of wonders
Most of the time, a change of scenery means looking to move to different surroundings. For most iconic addresses, it spells a holistic refinement while maintaining the well-loved location. Luxury jewellery house Tiffany & Co, on April 20, announced opening its doors this month. Located on 57th Street and Fifth Avenue in New York, its flagship store boasts a transformed interior highlighting a new and improved Tiffany & Co.
Custom artworks, never-before-seen jewels, and immersive displays define the new Landmark, which is also one of the largest stores in Manhattan.

The new site marks its first comprehensive renovation since 1940. Opposing forces define the transformation: old and new, past and future, hidden and revealed treasures.

Upon entering the new store, clients and visitors will immediately see an expansive main floor of jewellery cases illuminated by lights akin to a skylight. The ceiling installation spans nearly the room’s entire length and is composed of an abstraction of facets.
Additionally, on the ground floor, picturesque New York City scenery is visible through walls that project sweeping views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline, which also serve as mirrors when turned off. Wood parquet flooring throughout the building harkens back to the original 1940s design, echoing the original pattern from the store’s interior.

The heart of the store features a sculptural spiral staircase with undulating transparent balustrades adorned with rock crystal, inspired by and reflecting the sensual and organic designs of Elsa Peretti.

Architect Peter Marino reimagined the interior architecture while OMA New York, led by the renowned Shohei Shigematsu, spearheaded the renovation of the building’s core and circulation infrastructure and the addition of the new three-story volume above the existing building.
“The reopening of the iconic Fifth Avenue Landmark is a major milestone for our House,” says Anthony Ledru, president and chief executive officer of Tiffany & Co. “Symbolic of a new era, it is much more than a jewellery store—it is a cultural hub with an exquisite showcase of architecture and superior hospitality, as well as cutting-edge art and design. It sets a new bar for luxury retail on a global scale.”
To commemorate the reopening of the store, the brand is set to debut a range of exclusive designs and one-of-a-kind creations. The Fifth Avenue Landmark will reopen its doors to the world for visitors to discover the wonders of Tiffany & Co in April 2023.

To celebrate the re-opening of the iconic and monumental flagship, the luxury brand invited Heart Evangelista, Anne Curtis, and Tatler's editor-in-chief Anton San Diego from the Philippines to experience it first-hand. Stay tuned for more from us, soon.
