Artist Daniel Arsham reimagines the Tiffany Blue Box as one of his sculptures

It is rare for a brand’s packaging to be as famous as their jewellery, but the Blue Box is the first thing that springs to mind when one mentions Tiffany & Co.. The distinctive robin’s egg blue is a classic shade, symbolising the luxury and sophistication associated with its jewellery through the ages.

In an exclusive collaboration with American artist Daniel Arsham, this timelessness is captured in his sculptures.

In a call to reimagine the Blue Box, the New York-based contemporary artist has created a series of 49 bronze sculptures that appear worn and eroded, as if they have been uncovered from a hiding spot.

“I always gravitate towards items that are immediately culturally recognisable. The Tiffany Blue Box has that power.”

Part of Arsham’s Future Archeological Series, the Bronze Eroded Tiffany Blue Box is observed through the lens of an imaginary future. From this perspective, the packaging can be interpreted as a time capsule—and the idea that Tiffany's jewellery are eternal. They come in hand-finished patina that captures both Tiffany’s exclusive shades of blue and signature Arsham Studio colour.

Above Tiffany x Arsham Studio Bracelet

Tucked inside the sculptures is an actual Blue Box containing the Tiffany Knot x Arsham Studio bracelet in 18k white gold set with diamonds and rare tsavorites, their stunning green reflects both Tiffany and Arsham’s staple hue. This bracelet is a prelude to a new Tiffany Knot collection that will debut in Malaysia in January 2022.
