The newlyweds gush about each other and divulge intimate moments in lead up to their big day

Love was definitely in the air for newlyweds Alicia Amin and Farzan Iqbal. Stolen glances, endearing teasing and loving looks didn't go unnoticed as the adorable couple who tied the knot on Valentine's Day gushed about each other during this interview with Tatler Malaysia

"She really pours her heart and soul into what she does," said medical doctor Farzan. "She's passionate and when people talk about what they're really passionate about, they express themselves differently. That's what I liked (about her) initially."

For the model/actress, she loves the way her husband has such a "sunny disposition despite his field of work" which is an important character trait to her and they get to indulge in each other's silliness.

It was interesting to observe and hear about the way this lovely couple's romance started; the way they playfully bickered over details and the timeline of their relationship differently was endearing to witness. What really mattered was how much they loved each other, and how they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

The Wedding

Their wedding was not as spontaneous as the public might have thought. "Getting married to each other was something we've been talking about for months but we definitely didn't expect it to happen the way it did," revealed Farzan.

The couple is undoubtedly easygoing and equally as adoring as they happily reminisced about their wedding day. "It felt like everything came together so smoothly," recalled Alicia. "It wasn't rehearsed and it was full of fumbling and funny moments, like when Farzan left his wallet in his friend's car just before the ceremony, and he had to call his friend to come back."

The Ring

Alicia joked about telling Farzan that "if anyone buys a Tiffany ring for someone, why would they want another ring?" For Farzan, he just wanted to get a ring that was "unique, rare and beautiful as the person who would be wearing it"—perfectly alluding to Tiffany & Co.'s unrivalled diamond craftsmanship.
