The exhibition opened at Saatchi Gallery in London featuring a star-studded blue carpet
There was no lack of shine and glamour at Tiffany & Co’s massive exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery last night in London. No expense was spared for the gallery to hold a star-studded night in celebration of the house’s 150th anniversary. The exhibition highlights 400 objects from Tiffany’s archives, including the famous 128.54-carat diamond recently worn by Lady Gaga and Beyoncé, and Audrey Hepburn’s original shooting script from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
The exhibition is a nod to the extensive heritage and history of the American jewellery brand which showcases old displays from its Fifth Avenue flagship’s windows to ornaments worn by Elizabeth Taylor and Princess Diana. Noting the brand’s unique factor, Tiffany & Co’s CEO Anthony Ledru says: “We are a mix of the old and new world—America and Europe—and we’re building a bridge between both. It’s the tension about heritage and modernity that we bring to the table.”
