See the standout jewellery looks at the 96th Academy Awards ceremony
The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles was buzzing with excitement on March 10 as all of Hollywood’s greatest came together once again for the biggest night in movies—the Oscars. As expected, the actors, actresses, filmmakers and other members of the film industry showed up in their glitziest and most glamorous outfits, with some decked out in breathtaking bling.
Not only did actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens debut her baby bump on the red carpet, she did so in an elegant black gown that accentuated her silhouette and allowed her Chopard jewellery to shine—especially that yellow and white diamond necklace. Actress Zendaya, whom we’re used to seeing in Bulgari’s bold and iconic Serpenti creations, veered towards more classic glamour with pink jewels from the Roman jeweller—including an exquisite pair of Bulgari earrings with diamonds, tourmalines, morganites, mandarin garnets—to match her rose silk dress.
The men on the red carpet did not disappoint either, with actor Matthew McConaughey donning a Cindy Chao The Art Jewel Yellow Diamond Ribbon Brooch featuring a three-carat fancy vivid yellow diamond and 886 rubies on his lapel, while actor-rapper Donald Glover added a touch of whimsy to his red getup with a Boucheron Wladimir the Cat necklace.
