Tell us about your favourite jewellery piece.

I have a little Van Cleef & Arpels heart that my grandfather gifted me when I was 18 years old. I’ve never not worn it, and it’s very emotionally valuable to me. My favourite Nouvel Heritage piece is the Mood bangle, which is perfect for stacking.

What inspires you?

Architecture, fashion and travel. I spend a lot of time observing things and people, and this gives me time to daydream and get inspired.

Describe the woman who wears your jewellery.

She’s independent, confident and cares about the story behind her jewellery.

What’s your first memory of jewellery?

Sitting in my grandmother’s room, rifling through her jewellery box while she tells me how she acquired each piece.

Tell us about the first jewellery piece you designed.

It was a very simple flower, which I crafted in silver for my mom. It wasn't the best but practice makes perfect.

If you could design jewellery for anyone, past or present, who would it be?

Whitney Wolfe, the CEO of Bumble, or Emily Weiss, CEO of Glossier. I follow all of their business accomplishments and they inspire me everyday.

If you weren’t a jeweller, what would you be?

Maybe a lawyer. My husband tells me I’m good at negotiating and getting what I want!

How do you spend your spare time?

Gardening. I have a small terrace attached to my New York apartment and I grow lots of vegetables and flowers.

What shows have you been bingeing?

I've been watching a lot of French cooking shows.

Tell us about your new collection, Paris.

I live in New York and haven’t been able to go back to Paris, where I grew up, in over a year, so this collection means a lot more to me now. It’s become a way for me to keep my home close to my heart.
