The engagement ring is nothing short of spectacular, covering nearly half of Rodriguez’s finger. It has sent experts scrambling for carat estimates, while luxury commentators have been quick to draw comparisons with the great engagement rings of modern celebrity history.
Crafted in platinum, the ring’s oval-cut diamond is held in an understated double-claw mount, accompanied by two perfectly matched side ovals in a classic three-stone arrangement—a design that eschews excess ornamentation, letting the sheer luminosity and presence of the piece speak for itself.
Experts estimate the centre stone to be between 22 carats and 30 carats with a D colour and flawless clarity, while appraisers estimate the price to be as much as US$4 million.
