Leona Chin got her hands on the realme GT NEO 3 and shares her thoughts on the racing-inspired mobile phone

For race car driver Leona Chin, the realme GT NEO 3 really strikes a chord. For one, its design is inspired by racing, and in fact it’s a tribute to the legends of racing, which is of course something she fancies, being a motorsport athlete herself.

With many accolades under her belt, including being crowned as the most promising female motorsport athlete by Asia Automotive Awards, Chin has proven herself time and again by performing well in numerous races, and recording wins in many – including the Malaysian Championship Series 2021 M-Production Class, and previously placing second in the Malaysian Championship Series 2019.

This young and disruptive lady describes herself as a nerdy girl who loves racing, and particularly enjoys drifting, and says she can’t leave her house without her phone, handbag (which carries most of her essentials anyway) and trusty water bottle. Clearly for someone who’s used to speed, she’s glad that the realme GT NEO 3 is capable of fast charging, being what is probably one of the fastest charging devices available locally. After all, when you’re going from zero to 100 in mere seconds, you’ll definitely appreciate the fact that the smartphone charges from zero to 50 per cent in a mere 12 minutes – which is less of a time compared to her getting into her racing gear even.

On top of all that, Chin also does a lot of video content for her various social media channels, which sees a high volume of followers and viewers. And in that sense, she’s all praise for the camera quality and capability, plus having enough storage on the device to not only store her videos, but also support the apps she needs to edit her beautifully shot videos.

“Apart from all that, I get a sense of the NEO speed and absolutely love the design of this latest model from realme, as it’s very linked to cars, and looks sporty and sleek, especially for me, who works a lot with cars,” she shares.
