In a surprise announcement, Apple on Tuesday said it will host a new event on October 18 (Monday). Set to take place at the Steve Jobs Theater at the company’s corporate headquarters in California, this is Apple’s second major product launch event of the fall season, which will once again be a digital-only event. A slew of products including new MacBook Pro models and AirPods 3 is expected to be unveiled and hit shelves soon, just in time for Christmas.
The news came about a month after the tech giant announced the new iPhone 13 models, Apple Watch Series 7 as well as upgrades to the iPad range at its “California Streaming” event held on September 14. According to a tweet from Apple’s senior vice president of marketing, Greg Joswiak, the new event features the tagline “Unleashed”. “These next six days are going to speed by,” he said in the post.
