Pierpaolo Piccioli has been on a roll—his last haute couture collection was splashed all over red carpets and premieres and it only seems like the designer is going from strength to strength.

For spring/summer 2022, the designer titled his collection ‘Anatomy of Couture’, inspired by the human body, according to the show invitation sent to press. “The repetition of the house model proportion has always been the rhythm to follow and I thought it was time for a change,” Piccoli went on to say. “Creativity, as life itself, is possible only in a non-homogenous environment, where beauty can manifest itself, free and fierce.” Does this mean that Piccioli is tackling body positivity this season? What will it entail?
