Victoria Tang-Owen reveals what she’s splurging on this week—from Fendi dresses to Philip Huang linen trousers
If you had grown up in a household like Victoria Tang-Owen’s, it would have been hard not to be absorbed into the world of fashion. As the daughter of the late founder of the Shanghai Tang clothing chain, David Tang, Tang-Owen has the innate ability to put together a killer look—whether it’s her custom Giambattista Valli wedding gown, an ensemble with Chinese designs by Ms Min or a head-to-toe look by MSGM. What’s clear is that over the years Tang-Owen’s style has only gone from strength to strength.
While trends may come and go, to her, one thing will never go out of style: shopping sustainably. The co-founder of creative agency Thirty30 says: "I tend to take a more sustainable approach to fashion. I believe that one should buy less, but buy better—whether that’s buying pre-owned goods, re-discovering pieces in your wardrobe or up-cycling clothing."
Here, she takes us through her summer hitlist.

Brown Satin Dress, Fendi
“This is one of my favourite pieces from Kim Jones’ first Fendi ready-to-wear collection. It’s a midi slip dress with hand-embroidered organza flowers and matching rhinestones and beads. I could dress this up or dress it down.”
