The 78th Venice Film Festival is underway, and while celebrities such as Penelope Cruz, Isabelle Huppert, Helen Mirren and more are gliding into the city on its famous water taxis, it’s the red carpet that you should actually be keeping an eye on. This year, attendees brought glamour back to the red carpet with voluminous gowns, statement sparkle and plenty of leg-baring looks (see: Mariacarla Boscono and Cynthia Erivo). With a blockbuster lineup of shows—including the long awaited Dune starring Timotheé Chalamet and Zendaya; and Kristen Stewart’s star turn in Spencer—the Venice Film Festival is drawing the cream of Hollywood’s A-list to the Venice Film Festival red carpet.
