Retail concept store Univers unveils a new selection of avant-garde offerings with a campaign shot by Regine David

Univers reveals its fall-winter 2024 campaign, welcoming a fresh pick of desirable pieces into an already impressive selection of brands from Maison Margiela to AMI Paris. The campaign was lensed by fashion photographer Regine David, whose work can be spotted on the glossy covers of various publications, with art direction by Seoul-based producer Crystal Sang.

The campaign was shot at the Hacienda Community House, a premier example of modern Filipino architecture that encapsulates the same understated aesthetic embodied by Univers.

This creative initiative showcases models Pauline Camille Prieto and Franz Garcia donning fresh arrivals from Univers’s range of international brands. A longtime purveyor of avant-garde fashion, the concept store is well-acknowledged as Metro Manila’s one-stop-shop for alternative luxury brands. These include UNDERCOVER by Jun Takahashi, Helmut Lang, AMI Paris, Fiorucci, ACNE Studios and YMC.

We can expect novelties like Thom Browne’s desirable dog-shaped Hector Bag in pebbled leather to be flying off the shelves, while elevated basics such as graphic t-shirts from Fiorucci are also up for grabs. Maison Margiela and Emporio Armani Sport are anticipated to make their debut at the Greenbelt 3 store, with MM6 available for access in the One Rockwell boutique.

The campaign highlights a demure sense of style, seen in unpretentious, maybe even unassuming pieces that happen to be crafted by the most esteemed luxury houses in Europe and Asia. Overall, this endeavour embodies Univers’s refreshing knack for the avant-garde.
