Cover A masterclass in Italian style with Tod’s

Tatler and Tod’s hosted an exclusive presentation where guests discovered the maison’s icons—from napa trench coats to the T Timeless bag

In the high-octane world of fashion, where trends flash and fade season after season, true style is often measured not by spectacle but by staying power. Amidst the noise of logos and theatrics, Tod’s has remained steadfast—a house that champions quiet elegance, artisanal craftsmanship, and timeless Italian refinement. From the supple craftsmanship of its Gommino loafers to the understated refinement of the Di Bag, the brand has cultivated a reputation for pieces that are as enduring as they are effortless. If Italian style is about ease, Tod’s has long been its most eloquent expression.

This spirit was brought to life at an intimate styling presentation hosted by Tatler Singapore and Tod’s, where a select group of tastemakers gathered at the brand’s boutique in Wisma Atria explore the season’s highlights.

The session was led by Tatler’s branded content editor and resident fashion monster Adriel Chiun, who guided guests through the art of building elevated looks and styling beyond the runway for everyday elegance. Against a backdrop of the elegantly-appointed boutique, Chiun waxed lyrical about the house’s impeccable craftsmanship and demonstrated how Tod’s signatures could be reinterpreted for different occasions: supple napa lambskin trench coats that add instant gravitas, wool capes that lend dramatic yet versatile layering for temperate travels, and the sleek T Timeless bag that transitions seamlessly from boardroom to cocktail hour.

After the presentation, guests were invited to browse the collection up close, taking the time to run their hands over the buttery-soft leathers and finely finished details that define Tod’s. Many slipped into the pieces themselves—draping on wool cape or testing the supple ease of the ballerina flats. Others explored how the T Timeless bag felt on the shoulder or admired the sleek lines of Tod’s latest sneakers.

It was in these quiet, tactile moments that the maison’s artistry truly came alive; when craftsmanship could be felt as much as seen, and when each guest found themselves falling just a little bit more in love with Tod’s understated Italian elegance as the evening went on.
