The new internationalisation platform, backed by Singapore Fashion Council and Enterprise Singapore, makes its debut in Seongsu from September 4 to 7, 2026, with Seoul Fashion Week and Frieze Seoul running concurrently

Singapore turns 61 this August. And now, just weeks after the country’s celebrations, the city makes its next move. Singapore: Selects, a new internationalisation platform for homegrown fashion and lifestyle brands, heads to Seoul from September 4 to 7, 2026, bringing 18 local names to Seongsu for its inaugural edition.

The platform is an initiative by Singapore Fashion Council, curated by Dors at Design Orchard and supported by Enterprise Singapore. Its first edition is hosted at Zzon in Seongsu, timed to run alongside Seoul Fashion Week SS27 and Frieze Seoul—positioning the Singapore brands within one of Asia’s most concentrated windows for fashion and culture.

Seongsu is an apt location for a debut of this kind. The neighbourhood has become one of Seoul's most exciting creative precincts, with independent labels, experiential retail pop-ups, global names and local designers occupying the same streets. Its appetite for discovery makes it a natural stage for what Singapore: Selects is trying to achieve.

The 18 participating brands span fashion and lifestyle, offering a sharp cross-section of what Singapore design looks like in 2026. Names such as Sabrinagoh, Young Hungry Free and Dirty Manners sit alongside newer voices like Silk Stories and Wūhaūs—together showcasing the range and confidence of the current Singapore creative scene. Complementing the retail segment is a multi-label editorial campaign produced entirely by Singapore creative talent across direction, styling, photography and production. Singaporean artist Jont, working with creative agency Spaces to Think, has been commissioned to shape the visual identity of the showcase.

Singapore Fashion Council CEO Zhang Ting-Ting describes it as bringing to life a new generation of brands that are confident in their identities and ready to share them beyond Singapore's shores. Enterprise Singapore's assistant managing director Jeannie Lim frames the Seoul edition as an opportunity for brands to gain firsthand consumer insights, test market potential and forge connections with key industry partners.

Singapore: Selects is designed as an evolving platform, with future editions set to spotlight different markets, artists and creatives alongside each new brand cohort. Seoul is the first chapter.
