Style came in full force this September. We had the opportunity to explore new collections, attend exclusive previews and mingle with some of our favourite recurring faces in the Tatler sphere.
On the other side of the world, we witnessed some of the most prominent Filipino fashion scene make waves at New York Fashion Week.

Debbie Co unveils her first Prêt-à-porter collection
After 19 years in the fashion industry, designer Debbie Co finally unveiled Prêt-à-porter Debbie Co, a pop-up boutique carrying her ready-to-wear collection in Rockwell’s Power Plant Mall. Co is known for her intricate florals, rife with maximalist embroidery and always bursting with colours. Several of her muses were in attendance, including Coleen Garcia, Tessa Prieto, Elisse Joson, and Nicole Andersson, who acted as the afternoon’s host.
Co shared, “I wanted to create a collection that still has my signature feminine and romantic style, yet can be worn on many occasions. I want every woman to feel confident and beautiful through Prêt-à-porter Debbie Co. And at a more accessible price point, I hope more women can enjoy my designs,”
Uniqlo launches a collaboration with Clare Waight Keller
Uniqlo held the Philippine launch of its newest collaboration with Clare Waight Keller at Blackbird at the Nielson Tower, mere hours after the British designer was announced as the brand’s new creative director. The space transformed into a temporary showroom, as models walked down the spiral staircase in pieces from the collection.
Clothes are “tailored for the city,” consisting of a largely muted palette with a style that is both structured and liberating. Keller took design inspiration from an iconic London brutalist landmark called the Barbican, seen in the collection’s clean lines and elevated look.

Rustan’s The Beauty Source held the 12th edition of their always-anticipated ‘The Beauty Addict event,’ gathering content creators and beauty for a day of high-octane excitement. With the help of Tuason Racing School, the beloved department store chain transformed Rustan’s Makati’s Beauty Hall into a racing-inspired hub. Guests from R’Bonney Nola Gabriel to Issa Pressman were present, posing by the event’s customised The Beauty Source racecar.
TOQA Spa
The local label Toqa invited the public to explore its unique philosophy. Known for its edgy sports-resort wear, Toqa set up a temporary immersive space in Makati complete with a cafe, meditative space, and showroom. Co-founder Isabel Sicat gave a discussion centred on Toqa’s identity as a sustainable brand, emphasising its Evergreen assortment as well as its core style principles.

Meet Aesop Virēre, the newest member of Aesop’s illustrious fragrance family. This scent is the epitome of green in a bottle, with notes of bergamot, fig and tea to thank for its distinct fresh aroma. Aptly, the name Virēre comes from the Latin verb for ‘to be green’ or ‘to be full of life.’ Aesop Virēre was unveiled to the public at the brand’s Greenbelt 5 location.
Filipino designers stun at New York Fashion Week
Filipino designers took to the global stage during this month’s New York Fashion Week. At the latest iteration of Filipinxt, a fashion series based out of the Big Apple, Bessie Besana, NIñOFRANCO, Andrea Tetangco, Pinagtagpi, Maison Metisse, and Chynna Mamawal showcased what our local style scene can offer to the western industry. Meanwhile, Chris Nick made his New York debut at F/Row, a noteworthy milestone for the Gen.T 2024 honouree.
Mamawal comments, “It’s about time that Filipino talent gets the recognition it deserves in the global fashion industry. Often, when Filipinos are abroad, we’re stereotyped into certain roles, but times are changing.”

Cartier celebrates 100 years of Cartier Trinity
Cartier celebrated 100 years of the Cartier Trinity at their boutique in Greenbelt 3. Noted for its timeless designs, the collection reflects the enduring and innovative spirit of the luxury jewellery house. The event also marked the reissue of the Trinity bracelet in an XL version.
