The year is 2023, and South Korea continues to solidify their position above others in the street fashion game
From 2015 to 2017, South Korea slowly made a name for itself in the fashion industry. The capital city of Seoul became an emerging showcase of powerhouse brands like Chanel, Christian Dior, and LVMH.
Now, the country is considered a fashion hub. The Korean's general inclination towards affordable wear, plus the increasing presence of high-end brands around the cities, speaks volumes of the marketable sense of style. These, alongside Koreans' creativity and overall trendiness, set them apart.

According to fashion designer Jung Ku-ho, former executive director of the Seoul Fashion Week, their fashion scene is centred on street culture. Furthermore, Park Hwan-sung, creative director of D-Antidote, describes Seoul as the "bling bling" spot in the continent. With their domestic market leaning on the younger side, with tastes ranging from youthful to trendy, it's no wonder why they are dubbed as such.

During the fall or winter, one would surely don a knitted piece of clothing whenever they are out in the streets. In a pair of patched jeans tucked in neon blue duck boots by Converse x Ambush, Kim Hyeon-seong stuns in a mustard yellow vintage knit cardigan.
Beside him, a guest smiles for the camera in a white, loose top layered by a colourful corset.
Although a small country, South Korea consistently showcases trendy and contemporary fashion. From the streetwear shown above, it is apparent that Seoul comprises promising people with interest and talent in all things style-related.
Seoul's reputation as South Korea's leading fashion capital doesn't seem to wane soon.
