Rosanna Ocampo's summer collection consists of everything fun and flirty—a chic ensemble that you'll love to wear on your next travels

While we were herded into our homes for months on end, most of us had felt physically and creatively boxed in. Renowned fashion designer Rosanna Ocampo concurs, given that her pieces are made specifically for the woman of the world.

"I really felt that my creativity was held back during the pandemic due to the global situation and couldn’t express my true aesthetic properly," says Ocampo. "But now with the world opening up, I can slide back to the fun and flirty pieces I love doing. It’s just like riding a bicycle."

Ocampo encourages her wearers to step out of their comfort zones and explore the world beyond with her new summer collection inspired by music, travel, movement, and absolute leisure.

"[The RO girl] always has a lot of things going on and is in constant evolution. She is [eternally] optimistic, confident and fun. She plays many roles in society with family always at the forefront," says Ocampo. "These pieces were made envisioning the RO girl back on her feet again with the world opening up—wearing her scalloped dress out on a deck or her three-tiered Poplin mini for a courtyard aperitivo."

To share the experience, Ocampo invited her muses for an intimate event for a boozy sunset session at Yours Truly in Poblacion.

"I sent out feelers to see if they were comfortable going to a private and intimate event and got an instant resounding yes from all of them! It would’ve also been their first event in two years and were excited to dress up and hang out. These girls are not only clients but friends of mine I chose the outfits according to their personalities and assets," the designer shares.

Some of Ocampo's favourites from the Scalloped series—Along the Riviera mini co-ords in buttermilk and The Forget Me Knot dress in white—were worn during the gathering.

The girls looked charming wearing soft-coloured staples that even you'll love to wear on your visit to the next hotspot destination.
