1. A Symbol of Freedom

G-Dragon and Nike's newest release inspires versatility in style and challenges identity norms while breaking through cultural barriers—much like the King of K-pop himself.

The artist has always loved having the freedom to do anything, from dressing up to creating a new style. He said, "For those who have felt things were too little or too much, I want this shoe to ignite an exploration of expression and pave the way for personal freedom".

2. It's Unique, Like You

The Kwondo1 might appear simple at one glance with its all-white colourway, but the sneakers are as unique as it gets. The sneakers' form is a fusion of a skate shoe's sole and Brogue detailing inspired by Nike's Tiempo football boots and it's crafted with leather and features co-branding on the fringe tongue.

3. First of Its Kind

The pair is the first of its kind—a uniqueness that makes the sneakers one of the most anticipated this year. It's a different take on Nike's famous models and a far cry from the artist's previous collabs like the Para Noise Air Force 1 and Para Noise 2.0 Air Force 1.

4. Named After Three Things

The name combines Korean martial arts, Taekwondo, G-Dragon's Korean name, Kwon Ji Yong,  and Nike's iconic slogan, "Just Do It".

Find your "freedom in flow"—this is what the brands want to impart to their wearers as it fuses both formal and sporty aesthetics by adding a removable flap tongue and lace kiltie. It even features stylish wings.

You may pair it with blazers or your favourite pair of track pants. Whichever you may prefer, trust that the Kwondo1 will help you express your individuality without limits.
