We love Zendaya’s take on MJ in the new Spiderman franchise, but there’s something about MJ’s outfits from the original films that we can’t stop thinking about

Zendaya absolutely stuns on the red carpet in thoughtful and sophisticated looks, but in the newest era of Spiderman films, she stays modest and minimal when portraying Michelle ‘MJ’ Jones. Usually decked out in denim, T-shirts and Converse sneakers, Zendaya’s version of MJ is super laid back to reflect her cool and confident character, but we miss the colourful ensembles rocked by the original MJ.

Mary Jane Watson, as played by Kirsten Dunst, was a cool ‘It’ girl and Peter Parker’s love interest. With red hair and charisma for days, her outfits were totally 2000s and defied all the rules of being a ginger.
