To spotlight diversity and inclusivity in the current fashion industry, Tatler spoke to models from East, Southeast and South Asia: Christina Chung, who became a model in Hong Kong in her fifties; Raw Xu, a plus-size model and artist from China; Sonya Danita Charles, a freelance model and the founder of the Vitiligo Association Malaysia; Jullian Culas, the Filipino model who is championing androgyny; Aura Tao, a Taiwanese transgender model; and Zoe Zora, the Singaporean model who is thriving with disabilities.
