If football is Madam Pang’s passion, then the Hermès Birkin is her “undying love” in the world of luxury. With a collection of five Faubourg Birkin bags valued at approximately $1.3 million, she is not only a collector but also a trailblazer in elevating the status of fashion masterpieces in Thailand. On March 8, during Paris Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2025, she captivated attention with the debut of the Rainy Days Faubourg Birkin—a masterpiece crafted from crocodile and Epsom leather, complete with a palladium lock, priced at $245,000 at Madison Avenue Couture. Inspired by the architecture of the flagship Hermès store at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the bag is not just an accessory but a work of art, embodying the luxury vision of the brand.

However, the Rainy Days Birkin is just one chapter in Madam Pang’s pursuit of the entire collection. From the dazzling Day Faubourg ($240,000) at the Villa Dior event in Bangkok in April 2023, to the Night Faubourg ($200,000) paired with a minimalist white outfit in June 2023, to the elegant Midnight Faubourg ($250,000) worn with a chic black suit in November 2022, and culminating in the striking Snow Faubourg ($350,000) worn with a high-slit dress in August 2023—each bag tells a unique story of Madam Pang’s persona and her dynamic transformations. At 59, she is one of the few Asian collectors to possess the entire Faubourg Birkin collection, the rarest and most expensive handbag series in the world. This collection is far from hobby status; it serves as a testament to her belief that an independent woman should boldly invest in celebrating beauty and individuality.
Diversity in fashion style

Stepping out of the spotlight of million-dollar bags, Madam Pang still commands attention with her dynamic and unconventional fashion style.
She is not one to adhere to a fixed way of dressing. Like an artist, she moves seamlessly between simple jeans and T-shirts, youthful short skirts, elegant long dresses, and comfortable sportswear. The common thread in Madam Pang’s fashion choices lies in the understated sophistication, soft colours, and undeniable femininity. In her Bangkok home, the businesswoman has a dedicated room to store hundreds of outfits from renowned brands, meticulously organised by brand, with a notebook to keep track of the location of each item, showcasing her precision and deep passion for fashion.

She once shared with Sanook her particular affection for Thai silk—a traditional fabric woven from silk thread. Though she doesn’t often have the chance to wear silk dresses, every time she does, Madam Pang aims to share the value of Thai culture with the world, subtly expressing her national pride.
Turning luxury goods into a source of encouragement in the king of sports
Not content with merely beautifying herself, Thailand’s leading female billionaire, Madam Pang, transforms her luxury hobby into a source of motivation for her players. In 2021, she organised a team bonding activity, where the players and coaching staff were presented with lavish gifts such as Hermès, Chanel, and Dior. Previously, Madam Pang had invested 100 million baht (more than VND70 billion) to revive Thai women’s football and secure the welfare of female players. Ahead of the AFF Cup 2020 semi-final against Vietnam, she personally spent her own money to buy new iPhones and Rolex watches as gifts, while also rallying businesses to reward the team with 26 million baht (around VND17 billion) should Thailand win the championship.

“It’s not just the physical condition of the players that matters, but I also must care for their hearts and minds.”
Her “big play” not only demonstrates her generosity but also her unique leadership strategy—using luxury gifts to inspire players to give their best. Madam Pang is a living testament to the idea that fashion and sports are not two separate worlds, but can merge to create a modern, motivating leadership style.
