We continue this monthly column counting down to our 25th anniversary with questions about fashion, trends and more—featuring Kylie Verzosa
In another edition of the monthly column commemorating Tatler’s 25th anniversary celebrations, we ask Kylie Versoza questions on fashion, trends and more.
How would you define your personal style?
Feminine, fun and polished. I like to experiment, but I don’t want to look like I’ve put in effort. On most days, I keep it comfy, and that’s when I feel most like myself.
Whose style inspires you the most?
Elsa Hosk, Hailey Bieber’s off-duty looks and Bella Hadid. They make everything seem effortless.
Favourite designers or fashion houses?
Matthieu Blazy at Chanel, Gucci under Demna and Jonathan Anderson at Loewe and Dior. I’m particularly obsessed with everything coming out of Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel. I think it’s very smart that he has revamped old styles and modernised them while still embracing Chanel as a brand.

What pieces in your wardrobe do you wear most often?
My SOLÁ essentials include a top, baggy trousers, a tailored jacket, Chanel flats and my Bottega bag. These are probably my office uniform at this stage.
Favourite places to shop, locally and abroad?
Locally, I shop for occasion wear with Mark Bumgarner and Vania Romoff. Abroad, I love discovering new brands, mostly from Europe and Australia. I mostly shop online now, honestly.
Your favourite scent or fragrance memory?
There’s something about a warm, woody scent that instantly transports me somewhere. I love anything that feels intimate, as if you have to lean in to notice it.
Your essential beauty routine, morning or evening?
Honestly, I love to recharge. I think good sleep makes everything better. In Manila, sunscreen in the morning is non-negotiable. In the evening, it’s a proper double cleanse and a serum. Consistency beats complexity.

Your favourite beauty boosts or treatments?
Ultra Lagree Pilates is my beauty treatment and fitness in one. For my skin, I trust my dermatologist, Dr Aivee Teo, and keep things simple.
What trend do you wish you hadn’t followed?
Wearing too many logos. Less is always more.
A destination that is always on your bucket list?
Fiji. There’s something about island life that completely resets me.
Your favourite hotel, bar or restaurant anywhere in the world?
The Amalfi Coast or at home in Puglia. We bought a holiday house there, so it’s become one of my favourite places in the world.

A museum or gallery you love returning to?
Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris. In the Monet water lilies room, you just sit and breathe.
Local salons, boutiques or hidden gems you frequent?
GAOC for dental, and I love finding new cafés in BGC; the neighbourhood keeps surprising me.
A place where you truly unwind and recharge?
Copenhagen. It’s where my fiancé Emil is from, so it immediately feels like a sigh of relief. No schedule, no glam, just us.
Your idea of a perfect day off?
A morning workout, Pilates, a slow brunch, an afternoon without a phone and dinner with Emil. Nothing extraordinary. That’s what makes it perfect.

How would you describe your home style?
Scandinavian. Clean lines, neutral tones and a homey feel, but it must feel lived-in. I don’t want a showroom. I want a home that feels like a deep breath.
A personal achievement you are most proud of?
When I established Almost Honest from scratch, founding SOLÁ and co-creating &you. The podcast became a space where Filipino women feel seen and heard, which means more to me than any title. I can connect with my guests and get to know them in different ways.
What motivates you every day?
Knowing that what I do can change how people feel about themselves, especially in mental health, is powerful. That’s not a talking point; it’s personal.
What does luxury mean to you today?
Time. Having the freedom to choose how I spend my day, who I spend it with and the space to simply be still. That’s the real luxury.
A cause or advocacy close to your heart?
Mental health, always. I’ve been open about my own journey, and every time someone tells me it inspired them to seek help, it reminds me why I keep advocating for it. With Almost Honest, I share experiences without being preachy. At its core, I want to teach women to take ownership of their lives and lead their own success.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
I am curious, intentional and evolving.
