Hidden in the heart of Singapore's renowned fashion strip, Orchard Road, two bosom buddies, Mediacorp 987 DJ Kimberly Wang and Mediacorp CLASS 95 DJ Edward Russell, found themselves lost in sartorial wonderland, amidst the grandeur of the storied Takashimaya Shopping Centre – a fashion institution and beacon for the sartorial set known the world over; that also very recently celebrated 30 years of fabulous style and operation.
A testament to the Japanese shopping centre’s curation of enduring quality luxury, the two radio personalities shared their passion for the finer things in life by embarking on a fun day out filled with all that sparkles: designer clothing, jewellery and fine watches against the backdrop of the iconic emporium.
Kimberly, with her penchant for the sophistication and eye for detail, and Edward, known for his love for sharp tailoring and knowledge of menswear, wandered through the expansive labyrinth of high-end boutiques and designer displays, picking things for themselves and each other. Each corner of Takashimaya Shopping Centre held a promise of refinement and just the right amount of opulence that matched their distinctive tastes.
And with her keen sense of fashion, Kimberly selected clothing pieces that echoed refined glamour with interesting textures, while Edward gravitated toward timepieces that boasted classic minimalism done the modern way – scaling the multiple floors of style and luxury at Takashimaya Shopping Centre with aplomb.
