Just months ahead of the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Dior made headlines as Jisoo of BLACKPINK appeared in a one-of-a-kind piece designed by Anderson—his first for the house—signalling a reimagining of the Dior woman for a new age.
On 13 July, during the second night of the Deadline World Tour in Los Angeles, Jisoo performed Your Love in an exclusive Dior creation that took over 100 hours to handcraft. The asymmetrical silhouette, a hallmark of Anderson’s aesthetic, shimmered beneath the stage lights, drawing every eye to her.

The moment went viral in a matter of hours. Within 24 hours, Dior’s homepage post of Jisoo in her pink couture had surpassed 10,000 likes, igniting a wave of online buzz and millions of brand mentions. More than just a striking garment, the design marked Anderson’s first unofficial introduction to the fashion world as Dior’s new Creative Director.

The British designer, widely regarded as a contemporary tastemaker for his acclaimed work at Loewe, made his Dior debut with the Men’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection at Paris Fashion Week. There, he reinterpreted house icons such as the Bar jacket and the Dior Book Tote with flair, offering a modern visual punch while honouring Dior’s storied legacy. Still, the fashion world remained eager for a glimpse of what his vision for the Dior woman would be.
That answer, it turned out, would not arrive on the runway, but rather on stage. By dressing Jisoo for a major K-Pop concert, Dior seamlessly merged fashion and pop culture, transforming a moment of performance into a global brand statement. It also set the tone for the official unveiling of Anderson’s first womenswear collection this October.
Such a gesture, entrusting a K-Pop idol with a debut design before it reaches the runway, is rare. Yet it speaks volumes of Dior’s confidence in the power of pop culture to lead fashion’s next wave.

During the BLACKPINK concert in Inglewood, California, Jisoo appeared like a modern-day princess in Anderson’s custom creation. A pastel pink satin crop top with delicate straps and an oversized bow was paired with a coordinating pleated skirt. The look, imbued with a Coquette-core spirit, carried Anderson’s subtle design codes. The shirt’s exaggerated bow echoed a motif previously seen on tailoring in his Dior Men Spring/Summer 2026 collection, a clever nod to continuity amid change.

If Anderson’s debut menswear collection was preppy with a deliberate sense of deconstruction, then his designs for Jisoo offer a more feminised interpretation. A beguiling mix of innocence and youthful charm, they also hint at a thrilling new chapter for Dior’s forthcoming womenswear line.

According to Launchmetrics, Jisoo ranks among Dior’s most valuable ambassadors in terms of media impact. At Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023, she led the rankings with an impressive $22.4 million in media value, accounting for nearly half of Dior’s total that season.

Jisoo’s social media posts frequently exceed five million interactions, twice the average engagement of other ambassadors, and she consistently tops charts for brand mentions across platforms. These numbers not only underline her powerful influence but also help explain why Dior has entrusted her with introducing this new creative chapter.
This carefully considered design honours the soft elegance of the Flower singer, while subtly embedding Anderson’s design signatures. His intent to disrupt traditional harmony suggests a vision of the new Dior woman: liberated, dynamic, and unapologetically individual. It is this interplay between heritage and modernity that positions Jisoo as the ideal “transitional muse” for the storied French maison.
