The beloved South Korean star is a master of timeless, elegant style—see her best red carpet fashion moments here
With a long list of awards to her name, Jeon Do-Yeon certainly does not lack recognition for her prowess as an actress. In fact, the 50-year-old star of Netflix’s Crash Course in Romance tops the latest popularity ranking of K-drama actors, as published by the Korea Business Research Institute. But Jeon also deserves to be celebrated just as much for her style choices, which in the past decade have consistently proven to be elegant, refined and timeless.
Over her illustrious career, the South Korean actress has had plenty of opportunities to showcase her sartorial flair: she has graced the red carpet premieres of her films like A Man and a Woman, Beasts Clawing at Straws, Emergency Declaration, attended prestigious film industry events including the Cannes Film Festival, and sat front row with fellow celebrities at fashion shows. Jeon favours a classy evening gown just as much as a pantsuit, and her wardrobe has room for both neutral colours and playful, pastel hues. What you won’t find, however, is anything too trendy—which is why many of her outfits do not look dated at all.
