Ion Orchard’s latest programme in support of holistic living champions accessible green practices and unique culinary creations

Wellness starts from within at Ion Orchard with its latest rewards campaign. In support of holistic living, the “Ion & You” programme encourages nourishment of the body and soul through accessible green consumerism and tantalising culinary creations.

“This campaign aims to create a ripple of positive impact and inspire shoppers towards embracing sustainable habits and lifestyle choices, including what they choose to consume during meals,” says Yeo Mui Hong, chief executive officer of Orchard Turn Developments.

Augmenting its efforts for sustainability, Ion Orchard partners with multiple-use products distributor Muuse to run a ‘Sustainable Takeaway’ pilot programme that reduces single-use wastage—the first mall in Singapore to introduce such an initiative.

Sustainability encompasses the fashion side of things at Ion Orchard too, with the installation of a Salvation Army donation point at the Level 8 Lobby of the mall.

In celebration of Ion Orchard’s 15th anniversary, the shopping institution has collaborated with various F&B brands to bring its visitors an exciting wave of exclusive creations. For instance, TWG Tea will present an innovative plant-based menu that champions healthy and nourishing flavours, alongside a tea pairing, while The 1872 Clipper Tea Co puts forth an intriguing ‘Orchard Symphony’ custom blend that pays homage to the fruit plantations that once lined Orchard Road in the 1830s.

The first overseas outpost of beloved Japanese bakery Donq Éditer has also opened at Ion Orchard, offering exclusive pastries prepared in-house from scratch. The bakery is housed in the same store as confectionary MiniOne, with the latter concept offering Choco Mochi exclusively at the mall.

The mall is also participating in the Singapore Tourism Board’s Wellness Festival, offering a series of exclusive experiences such as an immersive tea workshop by 1872 Clipper Tea Co, and yoga sessions at 1-Atico while soaking in views of the city from the highest vantage point in Orchard Road. These mindfulness rituals will run from June 21 to July 21.
