Setting the stage with grandeur, the show opened with the Raya 2025 couture collection, a festive extension of the designer duo’s spring-summer 2025 Mustika collection that was unveiled at Dubai Fashion Week last September. Paying homage to their cultural heritage, the collection presented an opulent selection traditional garments reinterpreted with exquisite craftsmanship and contemporary sophistication. The kebaya and baju kurung stood at the heart of the collection, elevated to couture perfection with ornate embroidery, pleats, sculptural forms, and luxurious fabrics.

Following the breathtaking couture showcase, the spotlight shifted to the grand return of Rizman Ruzaini Red—an accessible yet equally luxurious ready-to-wear line, where everyday elegance meets the artistry of high fashion. The 2025 Raya edition of Rizman Ruzaini Red unveiled eight stunning designs that echoed the allure of the Mustika couture collection but with a refined, understated grace. The collection featured a range of timeless silhouettes, from baju kurung Kedah and baju kurung Pahang to kebaya and kebaya labuh, crafted from soft crepe with intricate lace accents in a spectrum of hues. Seven of the eight designs came with a matching shawl, adding to their versatility and effortless appeal.

The final act of the showcase introduced the Rizman Ruzaini 20th anniversary capsule collection, a ready-to-wear tribute to the brand’s most iconic designs over the past two decades. The collection, dreamt up by creative director Ruzaini Jamil, revisited the pieces that had captured the hearts of their loyal clientele and reimagined them for the modern woman. Ethereal chiffon fabrics cascaded in a harmonious contrast of soft and bold hues, accentuated by exquisite embellishments, fluid drapery, delicate pleating, and impeccable tailoring—subtle yet striking details reflecting the meticulous craftsmanship that defines the maison’s legacy.
