The evening began with our impeccably dressed guests streaming in, kicking the night off with drinks courtesy of Lillet and Mumm Marlborough. Everyone mingled and chatted while also enjoying an array of delicious canapés from Kuala Lumpur. These included tomato & salmon puff tart, tomato jelly, tomato pavlova, golden pumpkin egg, buckwheat & pumpkin salad and warm pumpkin cake. A crowd favourite was the avocado taco soup, avocado cone with crab meat and avocado martini. Apart from that, the hotel’s executive chef, Tommy Franssila, served up sesame waffle, pie tee, and trufflemisu which many guests enjoyed.
