Honouring the golden jubilee through a fashion show and an exhilarating culinary experience
In celebration of 50 years of diplomatic friendship between Hungary and the Philippines, the Hungarian ambassador to the Philippines, Her Excellency Titanilla Tóth and the Prime Minister’s commissioner, Zsolt V Németh held a week-long festivity showcasing her country’s rich cultural heritage.
“Tonight is not just about Hungary. It’s not Hungary’s national day but a celebration of our friendship with the Philippines as we commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations,” said the ambassador.
The Hungarikum Reception was held on September 28 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel’s Grand Ballroom in Bonifacio Global City. It featured authentic Hungarian cuisine, volcanic wines, and a fashion show.
In attendance were friends of the embassy, Hungarians living in the Philippines, and government officials—with Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri sharing his remarkable experiences in Budapest.
