Bright, light, and full of compelling patterns, the clothes in these collections are worthy of a space in your wardrobe. Sarte, who is a proud Filipina, has been staying in Paris, France for five years now. In an interview with Tatler, she shares how her (fairly) new environment inspired her craft.
"I’ve been in Paris now for five years. It’s been such an amazing adventure. Hasn’t been without challenges but it has taught me so much about myself and has made me grow so much as a person," she explains.

When asked whether she misses Manila, Sarte says that she yearns for the 'Filipino warmth' the most. "I miss the people most of all. I miss my friends. I miss Pinoys in general. The warmth of our people is something you can’t find anywhere else."
Sarte has been building her name and eponymous brand in the international fashion scene since she moved to Paris. Today, she is proud to announce that her line is now accessible in over 30 stores in the US, and also online via Shopbop and Intermix.
"I think until now I still can’t believe we are in these stores. Really is a dream come true. Never in a million years would I ever imagine we could make it this far," she humbly shares.

"I really hope this year I can go back to Manila. It’s been two years [and] I haven’t been back because of [the pandemic]. I want to build my brand in the Philippines as well. Hopefully, we grow even more this year," says Sarte.
"Just want to say, It may seem like everything came easily for me but I had my fair share of rejections and emails left unanswered by agencies and stores. But I remained steadfast and didn’t get disheartened. All of that paid off which makes it even more precious to me where I am now," she concludes.
