The campaign for the CHANEL 2024/25 Métiers d’art collection invites us on a dreamlike voyage beginning in the heart of Paris and arriving at the storied shores of Hangzhou. It all starts in Gabrielle Chanel’s legendary apartment at 31 rue Cambon, where a world of imagination opens before a 19th-century Coromandel screen. Its lacquered panels depict the enchanting beauty of Hangzhou’s West Lake, evoking a realm of myth, mist and timeless poetry.
And on the poetic banks of that very lake, as dusk settled in a haze of romance and mystery, the Métiers d’art show unfolded in all its splendour.
