The luxury French fashion house celebrated the opening of its new Philippine boutique with an all-star guest list and exclusive five-course dinner at Finestra
French fashion house Celine makes a grand entrance at Solaire Resort, joining the roster of brands at The Shoppes: the destination’s luxury retail experience. Following the opening of their first Philippine store at Greenbelt 3 last year, this newly minted space seduces the eye with elegant fixtures of marble and glass with accents of gold, a fitting home for Celine’s effortlessly chic designs. Boasting a larger space, Celine at Solaire includes not only womenswear, leather goods, and accessories, but also menswear—a highly-sought after collection, not available at the Greenbelt store.

Held on July 12, the highly anticipated boutique opening was a star-studded affair, to say the least. Guests including Anne Curtis-Smith, Michelle Dee, LA Aguinaldo, Solenn Heussaff, Sarah Labhati, Richard Gutierrez, and Liz Uy were allowed to browse the collections, many of them donned various Celine pieces themselves. Passarounds of Champagne, canapes, and other refreshments by Solaire further elevated the affair, teasing the feast that awaited.

Sophisticated and grand, Finestra Italian Steakhouse was the perfect setting to celebrate the occasion. Finestra head chef Andrea Spagoni curated an exclusive five-course menu for the evening, including a tuna tartare with citrus dressing and Sturia Oscietra caviar, poached blue lobster salad, and burrata ravioli.
Celine’s elegant new boutique is now open at The Shoppes at Solaire Resort. Stay tuned for more updates as the brand sets its sights on its third Philippine boutique, opening at NUSTAR Resort & Casino, Cebu, at the end of the year.
