British luxury brand Burberry will drop its viral giant Olympia bag artwork at Ion Orchard this August as its first stop in Asia

Does bigger always mean better? In Burberry’s case, it definitely does. After the recent launches of its viral giant Olympia bag artistic installations in London and Dubai, the ‘Burberry Landscapes – Olympia Bag’ art installation is making its way to the Lion City.

With the launch of these structures as travelling activations for the Olympia, Burberry plans on “hijacking” notable landscapes around the world. The first two giant Olympia bags have already been sighted in London, where it set sail along the River Thames, and in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, where it was showcased in front of the Dubai Marina skyline at Palm West Beach.

Here’s what you expect from its Singapore leg: with its third installation taking place in the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore’s premier shopping belt, Burberry will be partnering with Ion Orchard to feature the bag as the first stop for the Giant Olympia in the whole of Asia. And given the actual proportions of the structure, it is certainly going to be a sight to behold. The event will take place from August 16 to August 29.

In addition to the activation of the gargantuan structure, Burberry will be releasing a few exclusive styles and colours for the Olympia bag that will be made available at its Ion Orchard store, so that people viewing the massive monument will also get the opportunity to shop and get a firsthand look at the latest It bag to join the Burberry family.
