開雲集團（Kering）今日宣布 Matthieu Blazy 成為 Bottega Veneta 的新任創意總監，首個系列將在2022年2月登場。
不足一個星期，Bottega Veneta已經終止了時尚界對於誰將接任Daniel Lee的猜測。Daniel Lee任期的「第二把交椅」Matthieu Blazy將即日起成為品牌新任創意總監，Bottega Veneta 首席執行官 Leo Rongone 表示:「Matthieu Blazy 是一位才華洋溢的人，我很自豪和興奮地任命他執掌我們的品牌。Bottega Veneta 一直被認為是擁有標誌性工藝和獨特創造力的代表。 Matthieu Blazy 的任命將進一步提升我們的現代感並加速我們的增長，同時也傳承 Bottega Veneta 的核心價值觀。」
這位生於巴黎、畢業於比利時布魯塞爾坎布雷大學 (La Cambre) 的37歲的設計師行事低調，卻與Daniel Lee的資歷甚為相似。一起認識Bottega Veneta的新任創意總監Matthieu Blazy：
之前任 Bottega Veneta 服裝設計總監
事實上，Matthieu Blazy 在2020年已經加 入Bottega Veneta，負責高級成衣設計，隸屬於創意總監之下的服裝設計總監。Blazy的加入增進了Bottega Veneta在男裝方面的表現，並且在 Daniel Lee 時期 Salon 系列中也有不少設計是出自 Blazy。因此，開雲集團提拔Matthieu Blazy接任也被認為是想延續Daniel Lee為Bottega Veneta奠下的新式風格和基礎，並且認為他能令產品銷情穩健地增長，被視為是最保守安全的決定。
曾為Raf Simons、 Maison Margiela Artisanal 及 Phoebe Philo時期Celine效力
這樣的判斷並非毫無根據，Matthieu Blazy與 Daniel Lee的確具有相似的背景，同樣曾為Phoebe Philo的 “old Céline” 效力，Blazy的設計履歷甚至更為亮眼，過往與多位時裝大師合作。他的時裝職業生涯起始於為 Raf Simons 擔任男裝設計師，之後加入 Maison Martin Margiela 負責設計 “Artisanal” 系列，並在2010年代成為首席設計師。之後他在2014年加入Céline 担任高級設計師，2016 年至 2019 年與 Raf Simons 再次合作，打造出引起一陣追捧熱潮的 Calvin Klein 205W39NYC。
除了與Raf Simons交情甚好外，當時擔任Calvin Klein創意指導、Raf Simons的左右手Pieter Mulier也是Matthieu Blazy的摯愛伴侶。Pieter Mulier正式Maison Alaïa 的創意總監，其首個高級訂製系列迎來行內好評，如今Matthieu Blazy 終於迎來屬於自己的舞台，或許兩人將在各自的品牌成為一股現代極簡美學的新代表人物。
Matthieu Blazy為Bottega Veneta 設計的首個系列將於2022年2月面世，敬請期待。
